Tasovcici

Tasovcic refugee camp, located on the outskirts of the town of Capljina, is home to 114 families. The camp which stands on four acres was erected in 1995 to give temporary shelter to fleeing refugees from Northern Bosnia. Over the past thirteen years hundreds of displaced families have passed through Tasovcici's cramped shacks made from aluminum and asbestos. Over twenty families share each set of communal toilets and showers which are now in horrendous condition.

The families living in the displced centre for refugees used to receive one meal a day until the kitchen was closed in August 2007.

In April 2008 their electricity supply was cut off leaving all 114 famiies without washing or cooking facilities.
